This could have been coincidence, but there was no one sitting at any of the tables behind us. Throughout our lunch, I noticed her glaring over in our direction several times. She looked as if this was an unreasonable request, and reluctantly brought us to our table. I returned to the hostess and requested we be seated. It appeared the 5th was running late as it was 11:30. A short time later, 3 others from my group arrived. in the restaurant at the time, I was told I needed to wait until all 5 were there before she would seat us. although there were no more than 4 customers.
I arrived a few minutes early and, after waiting for the hostess (who never unacknowledged my presence) to finish her phone conversation, checked in.
